Ceramide NP is a lipid that patches the skin barrier, like mortar between bricks where water leaks out. At 42nd, the very end of the list, its amount is symbolic. The barrier work falls more to squalane, up in 7th.

What this mask does well, and what it does not

Group the ingredients by what they do and 8 of them land on hydration alone. With water-adders and water-keepers both well represented, the build is faithful to its one job: holding moisture overnight.

There is one quiet bonus. Niacinamide, a brightening active notified by Korea's MFDS, sits 15th, in the zone with real amounts. Used steadily it helps even out a dull tone, and on the label it ranks above the hyaluronic acid itself.

What it cannot do is just as clear. There is no notified anti-wrinkle active, no exfoliating acid, no retinoid. That also means little to irritate, which makes nightly use easy, but do not expect this jar to cover anti-aging too.

What to note

There are no parabens and no mineral oil. It does contain fragrance, with the allergens limonene and linalool listed separately. Since it covers the whole face and stays on overnight, scent-sensitive skin should start with a small amount.

Whose skin it suits

It fits dry skin that wakes up tight, and skin that looks oily on top but runs dry underneath. The gel texture also suits anyone who finds rich creams heavy.
